During February Calpe celebrates Andalucia Day as well as the carnival. During August and October the festivities in honour of the patron saint of the village, the Virgin of Rocio and Cristo del Sudor respectively, takes place.Las Fallas, which is one of the biggest festivities in Valencia (similar to Guy Fawkes), Las Hogueras de San Juan and a beer festival are also enjoyed in Calpe in the course of the year.

Also, the Cultural Centre of Calpe (La Casa de la Cultura) celebrates exhibitions, seminars, conferences and other activities throughout the year.
